Since 1951, Paine Electronics has manufactured highly accurate, state-of-the-art pressure instrumentation, pressure transmitters and temperature probes and sensors for some of the world's most vital and technologically-advanced industries.

Our advanced bonded strain gage technology, hybrid microcircuit design and advanced manufacturing techniques have made Paine Electronics' the preferred choice for customers with applications that require long-term stability in the toughest applications.

Whether it's satellites or aircraft, Paine Electronics offers pressure and temperature transducer options that can stand up under rigorous conditions that would cripple other sensitive instruments.  The oil and gas industries rely on our logging and measurement tools such as downhole pressure sensor systems to gauge well depths and a subsea pressure transmitter from Paine Electronics can withstand the immense deep-sea pressure while returning accurate readings.

Along with the wide range of products from our catalog, we provide custom equipment such as pressure transmitter and temperature transmitter tools that meet our clients' exacting needs. This is ensured through rigorous testing and calibration as well as adherence to quality and calibration management systems, including AS9100, ANSI-Z540 and MIL-STD-883.

History / Time Line of Paine Electronics:

  • Company started in 1951 by Bill Paine and Howard Carson as "Standard Controls".

  • Bill Paine bought out Carson's interest in the company. Carson went to work for Cadillac Gage in California. Standard Controls began concentrating on the design and manufacture of stain gage pressure transducers.

  • The company added different product lines including: Thermal switches in 1968 and Aeration detectors (monitor oil and air levels) in 1968.

  • Became "Paine Instruments" in 1979.

  • Became "Paine Corporation" in January 1986.

  • Became "Paine Electronics" in January 2001.

  • Paine Electronics moved it's corporate headquarters to Wenatchee Washington in 2005.
